 Translators wanted ...
RS-EDWIN can be set up to display its menus, dialogs and messages not only in english or german... it will also accept language files in danish, french, spanish, finnish, and dutch.
In order to make the program work with those languages, it will be necessary to tanslate the german or english language files, which consist of approx. 990 text strings. Besides my poor english, I have only little memory of my french lessons I took 35 years ago. This is not enough to create the foreign language files.
So I hope, there will be somebody who is speaking one of the languages I mentioned.

 Put a Bitmap Logo
in RS-EDWIN's Window !
As you will have detected it is now possible to open RS-EDWIN's settings file VVSEDWIN.INI clicking the menu item "File / Edit INI file".
Adding the entries "Hintergrund1=<name.ext>" and/or "Hintergrund2=<name.ext>" to the [Programm] section will assign the bitmap files you specified as a background logo with RS-EDWIN's program window.
Your bitmap file (<name.ext> means a 'short' file name) must have 452 pixels of width and 220 pixels of height. You may pick two examples from ED_LOGO.ZIP (approx. 178 kB)...
